10.30.2007 Emissions Removed & 10 PSI

With the new exhaust in place, it appeared that I was not able to boost past 6 PSI. What I needed was a Boost Controller. I got the Greddy Profec E-01 from a friend. At the same time I blocked off my ACV (Air Control Valve) and removed my Air Pump for better performance. Doing this resulted in not being able to pass smog. Up the boost to about 10 PSI. Also to note, on 11.12.2007, my red 1989 GTU-S has a blown engine due to oil starvation while I was driving to work. The car is currently sitting in my backyard waiting for parts to be pulled out and then sold.

09.13.07 Spent a Little More Than Expected

During the phase of my engine rebuild, I was informed that I had a clogged Cat. I was not getting much power and the car felt EXTREMELY Sluggish! In addition to that, I have mismatching Muffler Tips. I knew I had to break in my engine ASAP and change my clogged cat. I thought to myself, if im gonna change the cat, might as well change the whole exhaust system. It will save time and money as a whole. Little did I know that changing the exhaust can lead to so many new purchases. I purchased the Apexi Dual N1 Exhaust, only to find out the day after that it only gives about 10-12 HP to the wheels. However, the Racing Beat REV-TII Exhaust produces a Whooping 59 HPgain. I was GREATLY dissapointed as a result, I searched high and low to get the Apexi Exhaust to as close to 59 HP as possible. This resulted in me buying the Racing Beat REV TII Downpipe and a Fuel Cut Controller. I thought I was done, until I found out that by using the Fuel Cut Controller, my stock boost gauge will no longer be accurate which will result in purchasing a new boost gauge. Unfortunately, I got laid off so the boost gauge will have to wait and my mods will come to a halting stop until i get a new better, stable job.

8.17.07 The Beginning

The beginning of Project Nana. This will be an on-going project that will probably go on for a couple years. Just a little expensive hobby I picked up....
So I Purchased a 1988 10th Anniversary Turbo II RX7 with about 85000 miles. Only 1500 made in the USA. Paid $6000 for the car and another $735 to ship it to my house all the way from Trumbull, Connecticut. To my surprise upon receiving the car, It needed an engine rebuild. So heres another $3700. Total being $10,500.

Here is the Check for the engine rebuild. There was a $500 deposit(not shown) which totals to $3698.44.

For my own future reference engine has been rebuilt at aprox. 85100 miles
